Believe it or not, last week was the final week in the regular season for both Florida and South Carolina. The rest of the South still has a few weeks to go before playoff time hits. Even though we are at the back end of the season, there are great games and performances all around.

Also today, a Jackson Liberty (N.J.) goalie enters the No. 2 spot for most saves in a game and Pittsfield (Mass.) junior Kevin Quinto is among Wednesday’s point leaders.
There is a race in Pennsylvania for which senior will end up the Keystone State’s all-time leading goal scorer. Lewisburg senior Matt Fedorjaka is closest, but Upper Dublin senior Michael Mullen is coming on strong with 52 goals this season. Also today, Ponte Vedra and Lake Highland square on in the Florida Final Four and a Rockhurst Jesuit freshman kicks off his high school career.
Twenty-five players and teams earn Best Known lacrosse performances over the last few days. Today’s update includes players and performances from Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday games, including a pair of Centennial (Ga.) players posting big games on Friday and Saturday. Also today, Grand Haven (Mich.) goalie Gabe Liebetreu reaches the 30 save mark.
This week’s Stat Stars lists the Top 3 players and teams in each category from the past week. Want to catch up on who led the nation for the most points, goals, assists, saves? This is the place to do it. It was an exciting week as several players topped the 11-point and eight goals marks this week. Also, another long winning streak came to an end and teams on the West Coast put up big goal numbers.
Greenville (S.C.) goalie Wilson Nickles earned his second spot on the Most Saves in a Game list with his performance against Montgomery Bell Academy (Tenn.) on March 20. The senior is approaching 500 career saves.
Cave Spring (Va.) tied for the season lead for the most goals scored in a game with a 30-goal performance on Thursday night. Also, eight players from around the country earn spots on the Most Goals in a Game list by scoring at least seven, including eight by Luke Motta of Cardinal Gibbons (Fla.) and Chase Taylor of Great Oak (Calif.).
