Connor Shellenberger, the No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2019, announced via Twitter he will return to St. Anne’s-Belfield (Va.) for his senior season.
The Virginia commit played at Bullis (Md.) during the 2018 season, helping the Bulldogs to the IAC championship.

Shellenberger scored 72 points on 30 goals and 42 assists for Bullis last season. During his sophomore year at STAB, the attackman totaled 118 points (74 goals, 44 assists) to become one of just six players in program history to score 100 points in a season.
The senior enters the season with 228 career points with 124 goals and 104 assists.
Bullis went 16-4 en route to winning the IAC title 9-8 over Landon (Md.).
St. Anne’s-Belfield finished 11-8 last season. The Saints went 17-5 in 2017 when Shellenberger was a sophomore.
