Player of the Week winners do not need to fall into the minimum categories that determine the Best Known Performers, so submit any performance you feel warrants consideration.
Player of the Week
Gerard Kane, Jr., Lambert (Ga.)
In a meeting of Georgia power programs, Kane made the most of his opportunities. The junior scored the first three goals of the game to help the Longhorns defeat Centennial (Ga.) 15–4. The High Point commit finished with six goals two assists to help Lambert improve to 8–0 this season.
Mikey Berkman, Sr., West Orange (Fla.)
Berkman became the first player in Florida high school boys’ lacrosse history to score both 200 goals and 200 assists in a career. The Syracuse commit scored six goals and six assists to achieve the feat.
Seth Cianfoni, So., Male (Ky.)
The sophomore totaled 24 points in three games for Louisville Male last week. He scored 18 goals and dished out six assists in those games. He posted two 10-point games in that span - against Elizabethtown (Ky.) and Evansville Harrison (Ind.).
Josh Fox, Sr., Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.)
Fox scored five goals as Foothill defeated Corona Del Mar (Calif.) on Saturday.
Jacob Kelly, Sr., Calvert Hall (Md.)
Kelly totaled nine points in two games for the Cardinals last week. He scored seven points in a win over Malvern Prep (Pa.) to help Calvert Hall rebound from a loss to Hill Academy (Ontario). Kelly scored a goal and an assist against the Pride.
Jeffrey Kedda, Sr., St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.)
Kedda came up big in the Saints’ game against Canadian power Hill Academy (Ontario) last week. The senior made 13 saves and held the Pride scoreless in two overtimes. His performance helped SSSA to an 11–10 victory and a 2–0 start to the year.
Aleric Fyock, St. Mary’s (Md.)
Fyock made 15 saves as St. Mary’s defeated Georgetown Prep (Md.) 7–6 last week. Made 12 saves in the 9–6 loss to Landon (Md.).
Liam Muhly, Sr., Gilman (Md.)
The faceoff man won 17 of 18 faceoffs to help the MIAA A Conference team defeat St. Anne’s-Belfield (Va.) 9–7.
Connor Rogers, Sr., Hargrave Military Academy (Va.)
The senior started his final year of high school in impressive fashion. The Hampden-Sydney commit scored 21 points in the Tigers first two games. He scored 11 points against Roanoke Catholic (Va.) on March 15. He followed it up with 10 points against Steward School (Va.) on March 16.
Andrew Tyeryar, Jr., St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.)
Tyeryar won 25 of 27 faceoffs for St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.) in an 11–10 double-overtime win over Hill Academy (Ontario). His 92 percent win percentage helped the Saints improve to 2–0 this season.
