Jim Connolly re-wrote the Massachusetts high school lacrosse record book during his time at North Andover (Mass.).
At the time of his graduation, Connolly was the second player in high school lacrosse history to surpass 500 career points. He was Massachusetts all-time leading scorer with 523 career points on 324 goals and 199 assists. Connolly was an All-American as a junior and a senior. He earned Massachusetts State Player of the Year honors as a senior in addition to MVP of the Cape Ann League in both 2004 and 2005.
Connolly scored at least 113 points in every varsity season and scored at least 80 goals in all but his freshman year.
As a junior, he led Eastern Massachusetts in scoring and carried North Andover to the first of two CAL titles. He went on to be the 10th overall pick in the 2010 Major League Lacrosse Draft by the Boston Cannons. Over his seven-year MLL career, Connolly played for the Cannons and Ohio Machine.
