Lyle Thompson was a one of the most dynamic high school lacrosse players in the nation. Thompson started his high school career at Salmon River in 2007 as an eighth grader and was there for his freshman season in 2008.
He went on to play college lacrosse at Albany and was the consensus No. 1 recruit in the nation. He was a 2011 Under Armour All-American and a three-time All-Central New York First Team selection. He was selected to the inaugural Warrior 40, which brought together the best 40 boys’ high school lacrosse juniors in the nation in 2010.
